  14. I have an HP Pavilion 7020 with a 14.4 modem.  I purchased a USR Sportster 
  15. 28.8.  When I took out the old modem there was a wire plugged into it 
  16. coming from the sound card.  The Sportster has no place to plug in the 
  17. wire.  I tried it anyway and it doesn't work.  I even tried keeping the 
  18. old modem in but Windows 95 cannot detect the new modem.  Did anyone else 
  19. with an HP Pavilion try to upgrade their modem?  What did you do to make 
  20. it work?  I can't get any response from Hewlett Packard and USR sends an 
  21. index of FAXES that I can request.  None of them offer help for 
  22. my particular problem.   HELP!!!
