- I have an HP Pavilion 7020 with a 14.4 modem. I purchased a USR Sportster
- 28.8. When I took out the old modem there was a wire plugged into it
- coming from the sound card. The Sportster has no place to plug in the
- wire. I tried it anyway and it doesn't work. I even tried keeping the
- old modem in but Windows 95 cannot detect the new modem. Did anyone else
- with an HP Pavilion try to upgrade their modem? What did you do to make
- it work? I can't get any response from Hewlett Packard and USR sends an
- index of FAXES that I can request. None of them offer help for
- my particular problem. HELP!!!
